MEMBER OF THE MONTH🏅PRO STAR PAINTING

We are excited to officially kick off a new spotlight series celebrating the businesses that make Washington County great. A new business will be featured every month!

Starting us off strong is Pro Star Painting, LLC. Owner Roger has been in business since 2008, providing residential, commercial, and industrial painting services throughout Southern Indiana and the Louisville Metro area.

From small residential projects to new construction and commercial buildings, Roger and his team do work that helps keep our community looking its best. He takes pride in his work, puts customer service first, and frequently gives back to the community he serves.

They are fully insured and even offer free estimates and color consultations. Check out some of their work below!

We’re thankful to Pro Star Painting for beautifying our community, and proud to have them as a member of our Chamber family!

📸 MINI SESSIONS with MINI MOOS FOR LEERAH 💛

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and this year we’re using it as an opportunity to show up for a very special little girl.

On Saturday, September 19th, I’ll be hosting a morning of mini sessions to help raise money for Leerah and her family as she battles blood cancer.

We are also incredibly grateful to Always Ranch LLC , who has graciously donated the use of their ranch and their mini cows for these sessions. Their generosity is helping make this fundraiser possible and allowing us to put even more support toward Leerah’s family.

Come update your family photos, capture your babies at the age they are right now, or simply book because you want to help support this sweet little girl and the people who love her.

Once your card is filled out, you can drop it back off at the Chamber’s booth for a chance to win a variety of prizes at the end of the night!

One of the prizes is a composter donated by Ty Terrell, a professional homesteader and realtor with A White House Realty!

A composter is an invaluable tool for any aspiring homesteader. Put just about any organic waste into it — food scraps, grass clippings, you name it — leave it in the sun, give it a spin every now and then, and after a few weeks you have a nutrient-dense supplement for your garden plants!

Thank you, Ty!

Last week, we officially unveiled the next chapter of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.

Our launch party gave us the opportunity to share where the Chamber is headed, why we’re making changes, and what we believe the Chamber can become for the businesses and communities across Washington County.

One of the biggest changes is our move toward an investment-based membership model. This new approach is designed to create clearer value for members, strengthen partnerships, increase opportunities for business visibility, and allow the Chamber to focus more intentionally on community impact.

We know change comes with questions, so we wanted to make the information we shared at the launch party available to everyone.

We’ve included the pages from our “A New Chapter for a New Chamber” presentation below. Take a look at what’s changing, what we’re working toward, and what this new direction means for our members.

This is just the beginning. We’re excited about what we can build together!
