🎬 MOVIE NIGHT AT SALEM PRESBYTERIAN! 🍿

Join us this Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. for our first Community Movie Night!

Come settle in for a fun, heartwarming movie about love, friendship, adventure, and discovering that sometimes a new chapter can begin when you least expect it.

We'll provide the movie snacks, and the film is only about 90 minutes long, so you can enjoy a night out and still be home at a reasonable hour.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member, or just bring yourself.

To make the movie easier for everyone to enjoy, we'll have subtitles on, and personal assisted-listening devices are available.

We hope you'll join us!

Reminder: please do not leave donations unattended at the door. We are not in the building often in the warm months. There was a pile of items that were left and unfortunately were not usable due to being rained on.

We'd like to give a special shout out to a few people who made the Washington County Resource Fair 2026 extra special!

Thanks to a grant from the Washington County Community Foundation and the generosity of Troy and Candas Merry, Heavenly Hot Dogs served over 400 meals on Saturday, free of charge to our guests, vendors and volunteers. Troy and Candas even ran out for more food to ensure we had enough to serve several students who were on campus for unrelated activities. We're so grateful for their generosity and servant hearts!

We also owe many thanks to Ms. Bobbi Jo with Bargain Barrel, along with her family, who gave out free clothing, blankets and school supplies. Not only that, but they also set things up as a cute little "store" so people could browse and grab what they needed. They were an absolute blessing and we appreciate their willingness to serve others!

It's small businesses like these, and many others in our area, that make this small community so amazing. If you haven't already, give both of these some love by following their pages!
