Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States – June 19, 1865 – two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is a celebration of African American freedom and a reminder that we must continue to fight against barriers that still exist today.

Last month, we were honored to partner with Minnesota United FC to host a soccer clinic and a mental health clinic provided by NAMI Minnesota at CommonBond's Skyline Tower and Midway Peace Park! The event brought together youth and families for a night of fun, community, and soccer. ⚽💙

We are grateful for our friends at Room & Board for hosting two recent events at our communities!
🎉 A barbeque at Upper Post Veterans Community brought residents and staff together to enjoy one another's company, food, and fun.
🎉 A bingo event at Boulevard Gardens with food, bingo, and prizes allowed residents to build community and connection.
