Still have pledges that aren’t paid? Have more people donated since you attended Coldest Night of the Year? Don’t worry — we’re accepting donations until March 31!

Donations can still be made online, via credit card, and all cash/cheque donations can be dropped off right to your local CNOY Charity!

The Winter Sanctuary provides seasonal emergency shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness in Knox County, Ohio, while also connecting guests with resources that help them move toward stability and self-sufficiency. What began in 2008 as a small church ministry with just a few men sleeping on cots has grown into a nonprofit serving men, women, and families across our community.

In addition to providing safe emergency shelter during the winter months, our advocacy program works year-round to help guests set goals, address barriers such as mental health or addiction challenges, and reconnect with employment, housing, and community support. Last season alone, we provided more than 3,000 bed nights of shelter and worked with hundreds of Knox County residents facing housing insecurity.
We are grateful for partnerships like Coldest Night of the Year that bring communities together to care for their most vulnerable neighbors.
