🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Maggie Kalb 🌟

For Maggie Kalb, volunteering at UF Health St. Johns is all about finding purpose, building connections and making a difference!

From the Information Desk and NICU to the Gift Shop, Supply Chain and Mail Room, Maggie has dedicated her time to supporting patients, visitors and team members throughout the hospital.

“Volunteering gets me out of the house and gives me a feeling of community,” Maggie shares. “It also gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment, something I missed once I retired.”

🌟 **Volunteer Spotlight: Lindy Eake**

For Lindy Eake, volunteering at UF Health St. Johns is about making a difference through even the smallest acts of kindness.

Lindy volunteers in Patient Transport and at the Information Desk and also uses her talents to sew bears for children at the hospital. Whether she’s helping a patient find their way, offering a friendly smile or creating something special for a young patient, Lindy believes every interaction matters.

“You just never know what that greeting and smile might mean to someone else.”
