You may have heard that we recently were awarded a gift from the Arkansas Community Foundation to support our efforts to contribute to local food security. That means helping people gain skills and resources! These weekly workshops are a place to grow and learn. We are a small group so please be patient with us and come pitch in!

What a wonderful evening at June Art Walk!
We don't just create change in our community, we create fun too!
People of all ages stopped by to paint, visit, share stories, and spend time together. Some carefully planned their designs, while others jumped right in and let their creativity lead the way. Every rock was unique, and every person added something special to the experience.
Events like this are a reminder that building a stronger community doesn't always happen in meeting rooms or through big projects. Sometimes it happens around a table, with a paintbrush in hand and neighbors getting to know one another.
Thank you to everyone who painted with us, learned about Volunteer in the Valley, asked questions about local volunteer opportunities, or simply stopped by to dance in the bubbles. We are grateful for the chance to connect with so many wonderful people.
A special thank you to Main Street Russellville for another fantastic Art Walk. We had a great time, and we're already looking forward to the next opportunity to gather, create, and celebrate our community together.
Because community really does rock. ❤️🪨

Community Connections is helping make that possible by creating opportunities for children with special needs and their families to grow, connect, and thrive. Through programs designed to support developmental, social, and recreational needs, Community Connections helps children experience opportunities that build confidence, encourage inclusion, and create meaningful connections within the community.

By providing resources, support networks, and activities that help children participate fully alongside their peers, Pediatrics Plus Community Connections continues to make a meaningful impact for families throughout the River Valley.

HEALTHY COMMUNITY IN ACTION!

Healthy Community means improving health and well-being for everyone in the River Valley by expanding access to nutritious food, support, and resources that help children and families thrive!

River Valley Food 4 Kids is helping make that possible by working to alleviate childhood hunger across the Arkansas River Valley. Since 2014, the organization has grown from a small church pantry effort into a community-wide program serving more than 1,000 children each week through backpack meals, summer feeding programs, holiday meal support, and nutrition education.

Through the dedication of volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, River Valley Food 4 Kids has provided millions of meals to children experiencing food insecurity while continuing to expand programs that support healthy lifestyles and strengthen local families.

River Valley United Way is proud to partner with organizations like River Valley Food 4 Kids that are helping create a healthier, stronger, and more supported community for children right here in the River Valley!
