The Arkansas Governor's Quiz Bowl Association is in a transitional period in which we are updating our operating procedures and evaluating our expenditures. We are attempting to make our association's operations as efficient, accessible, and as user friendly as possible by adopting new technologies and analyzing how we can streamline services to better serve our membership. As part of this evaluation we are examining and discussing the currently paid position of state director. We are considering the possibility of reassigning some of the duties the position currently entails or even perhaps eliminating the position. Prior to making a final decision concerning the position, the board would like to gauge the interest of those in the quiz bowl community to see who would be interested in serving in the position of state director, should the board decide to continue offering the position.
