What an AMAZING day at the Lake Hills Hope Closet!

What a blessing to help meet the clothing needs of 158 individuals from Russellville and our surrounding communities!

A HUGE shout-out to our wonderful Hope Closet volunteers! The camaraderie, teamwork, and willingness to jump in wherever needed were second to none! From helping families find clothing to sorting, organizing, restocking, and cleaning up, this team worked together beautifully to make today a success.

To everyone who donated clothing, THANK YOU! Your generosity helps make these giveaways possible and allows us to continue reaching individuals and families in need.

We are also grateful to Lake Hills Church, Pastor Josh and Sharla Reynolds, Bishop Tony Reynolds and wife, Carol and our entire church family for their continued encouragement, prayer and support.

I’ve heard it said many times, “It takes a village,” and today was a wonderful reminder of just how true that is! We couldn’t do it without each of you!

Lake Hills Hope Closet Community Clothing Giveaway!

The Lake Hills Hope Closet is looking forward to serving our community once again on Saturday, October 24, from 12:30–3:00 PM!

Lake Hills Family Center

We’ll have clothing available in sizes ranging from infant through adult!

If you or someone you know could use clothing assistance, we invite you to stop by. Everyone is welcome!

It’s SOCK-tober! Lake Hills Church family and friends, our SOCK-tober donation box will be set up in the church foyer beginning Sunday and will remain there for the next two weeks!

Donations of new socks in all sizes will help us keep the Lake Hills Hope Closet stocked and ready to serve those in need.

Our SOCK-tober drive was a great success last year, and we’re hoping for another wonderful response this year!

Let’s keep those little feet (and big feet, too!) warm this winter!

Thanks to Rhea Lana’s of Russellville and their consignors who generously chose to donate their unsold items, the Lake Hills Hope Closet received a truckload of clothing, coats, and shoes for children in need!

With sizes ranging from infant to pr***en, these donations will help the Lake Hills Hope Closet continue serving children and families throughout our community and surrounding areas.

A special thank you to Liz, Holly, Linda, and my husband, Terry, for lending a hand today, and to the many others who generously give their time throughout the year. We appreciate each of you!

We had a great day serving our community at the Lake Hills Hope Closet Community Clothing Giveaway!

We assisted 71 people with their clothing needs. Thank you to everyone who came. It was wonderful to meet you, help you find clothing, and spend time together as a community.

To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, welcoming our guests with kindness and compassion, and helping them find what they needed. To everyone who donated clothing or shared our posts so others could find us, thank you. You helped make today possible.

The Lake Hills Hope Closet will be open Saturday, September 26, from 12–3 PM at the Lake Hills Family Center, behind Lake Hills Church.

We are here to serve individuals and families in need throughout our community and beyond. Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing will be available free of charge.

Exciting Changes Are Coming to the Lake Hills Hope Closet!

Beginning this month, we’re changing the way we serve our community! Our first Community Clothing Giveaway will give individuals and families in need the opportunity to choose clothing for themselves and their families at no cost.

It was a great day of teamwork at the Lake Hills Hope Closet on Thursday! These ladies rolled up their sleeves, came ready to lend a hand, and together we tackled the to-do list. Who says volunteering can’t be fun? Put this crew together and you’re guaranteed two things—a lot gets accomplished and there’s plenty of laughter.

The racks are stocked, donations are sorted, everything is organized, and we are ready to continue serving those in need!

A big thank you to the ladies who volunteered on Thursday and to all of our volunteers who have given their time throughout the year. We appreciate each and every one of you!

As a new school year begins, the Lake Hills Hope Closet sends our best wishes and prayers to the students, teachers, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, school staff, and families throughout our community.

We pray for safe travels and safe schools, a year filled with learning and growth, new friendships and kind hearts, and for every student to feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged.

Lord, place your hand of protection over our schools and everyone who enters their doors. Bless our students as they learn and grow, and bless our teachers and staff as they teach, encourage, guide, and care for each child. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen

It has been a privilege for The Lake Hills Hope Closet to help provide clothing for children in our community as they prepare for a new school year. Our hope is that each child begins the year feeling confident, comfortable, included and ready to learn.
