They hosted a special day showcasing local nonprofits, and we are so grateful to have been included again this year. It was wonderful to hear their morning message and have the chance to share more about Family Promise with their incredible churchgoers.

Cupcakes, sprinkles, and one special reminder: every child deserves to feel celebrated. 🎂

Because when we say , we mean their safety, their stability, AND their joy.

Thank you to our partner, Cake4Kids , for helping make birthdays special for children in our program with custom treats made around each child’s favorite flavors and desserts.

For families walking through an unstable season, moments like this matter. They bring joy, dignity, and a reminder that each child is seen, celebrated, and deeply cared for.

Today is National Children’s Day, a reminder to protect, nurture, and advocate for the safety and well-being of every child.

❤️‍🩹 But right now in our own backyard, local families are facing a severe housing crisis. With school out and childcare costs completely out of reach, kids are spending their summer days living in cars because parents have nowhere else to turn. What do they do all summer?

Let's give a warm welcome to our newest team member: Marissa Hudson! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome her aboard as our new part-time Case Manager. 🪴

Marissa brings an incredible wealth of experience in education and community advocacy. Having served as a special education case manager, classroom teacher, and youth program director right here in the Atlanta area, she has spent years navigating complex systems to lift up local youth and families. Her deep heart for service and her hands-on expertise make her a perfect fit for our mission. 🤍

Woohoo! 🎉 Huge thanks to the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church for awarding us a 2026 Capital and Habitat grant!

We’ve officially used these funds to repair the broken HVAC units at our Homebound Ranch, keeping our program's kids safe and cool all summer long. 🧊🏡
