The mission of MSCA is To unite those persons engaged in guidance and counseling at the elementary, secondary, and college level in educational institutions of Minnesota, public and private. To make guidance and counseling more effective, and to promote an understanding of guidance and counseling services through the dissemination of information to other educational workers and to lay people in ge

neral. To cooperate with educational institutions and organizations interested in the promotion of guidance and counseling services. To work toward improving the qualifications for guidance and counseling personnel in Minnesota, and to engage in such other activities as may promote the general social and economic welfare of its members.

Big ideas, great conversations, and one exciting year ahead. 💙

On Monday, MSCA board members and committee members came together for Leadership Development Institute to set goals, make plans, and get ready for the year ahead.

Want to be part of it? Join an MSCA committee! If you can commit about an hour a month for a virtual meeting and some small action items in between, we’d love to have you. Help shape advocacy, member education, membership, or communications and recognition while connecting with school counselors from across Minnesota.
