Knowledge is POWER, and we must protect our own communities!

Advocates for Trans Equality invites you to an essential, high-energy Know Your Rights training led by two of the most powerful voices in advocacy: Rahel Boghossian (she/her), Senior Policy Counsel at the ACLU, and Arli Christian (they/she), Senior Policy Counsel at the ACLU. This is a vital opportunity for community members and supporters to come together, learn from experts, and strengthen our collective understanding of your voting rights during the Midterms.

Community empowerment starts with every one of us being informed, prepared, and ready to vote! Join us, share this with your members, and let’s ensure our collective voices are heard at the polls!

Office hours this week! Wednesday, 5:30-7:30pm. Artists, come pick up any unsold art from this weekend and collect your $$ for sold art!

Our office will also be open for you to stop by and ask questions about PFLAG and resources, grab a book from our lending library, sign up for our scavenger hunt, or just hang out!

We’re almost ready for the biggest party on Broad Street tonight! Come on down and check out this *amazing* art. Doors open at 6pm, interactive mosaic, Mouth Council, and Photo Booth all night long, and art goes on sale at 7:30pm!

Just one more sleep until PFLAG Rome celebrates 5 years! We cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow night!

Doors open at 6pm. Come help with the interactive mosaic with artist Amanda Banks. Experience Mouth Council, and grab an amazing piece of local art in our Anonymous Art Show! You won’t know the artist until the piece is yours! Art sales start at 7:30pm sharp, and it’s first come first serve!

While you’re there, grab a photo in our photo booth from Blooming Oak Photography Studios, and enjoy light charcuterie while hanging out with the coolest crowd in Rome.

Thanks to Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) for helping make this celebration possible. It’s been an amazing 5 years!
