Our annual Car & Truck Show was an absolute blast, and we couldn't have done it without our supportive community!
The date change was a bit of a wild card, but it all worked out in the end.
The Cars & Trucks on display were simply incredible!
We're sending huge thanks to our fantastic and generous sponsors, with a special mention to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office! THANK YOU!
And to our amazing volunteers, your tireless dedication to help the animals, is truly recognized and appreciated.

It takes a village!
This is possible because of your love and support, our wonderful rescue partners, and devoted volunteers. Working at an animal shelter is not for the weak. Thank you again Public Animal Welfare Services staff for your hard work and dedication.

This month, thanks to Animal Rescue Foundation of Rome - Floyd County INC., 26 dogs have gotten their second chance outside the shelter walls. 🐾

It’s often the quiet, behind-the-scenes rescue pulls that make the biggest difference — the ones that turn a kennel into a warm couch, uncertainty into safety, and waiting into belonging.

We are incredibly grateful for ARF and their continued partnership and dedication to saving lives. These moments may not always be seen, but they are deeply felt by every dog who gets a fresh start.

Thank you for being part of this lifesaving work with us. 💙

Our Car & Truck show will be postponed for the rain out date.

The weather this time of year does not want to participate. Our Car & Truck Show is this Saturday!

We are checking the weather closely. Check for updates!!! We will post tomorrow if we will continue or plan for rain out date May 2, 2026.

When you read this, remember…

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

We physically visited Public Animal Welfare Services, interacted with the long-term at-risk pups, took pictures, and met their personalities.
Our actions provided a second chance to 10 furbabies, a number that, although not substantial, represents lives rather than words.
Several of these babies had been residents for over 100 days.
We cannot save them all, but we certainly try.
It truly takes a collective effort. Much more can be accomplished together in this ongoing battle that we are not winning. We are all here to assist these innocent and voiceless lives.
Our ACTIONS, which reflect our mission, brought a chance for love and happiness to these 10 furry friends.

A huge THANK YOU to those who continue to support us and our efforts. As a donation based non-profit, this is possible with your help and donations. Thank you to the P.A.W.S staff for your hard work, thank you to our rescue partners, and selfless volunteers.
