🌟 October Affiliate Highlight: Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas 🌟

This month, we're highlighting an organization that's helping girls discover their strengths, build confidence, and become leaders in their communities!

Girl Scouts – Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas serves girls ages 5–18, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Through hands-on experiences, new challenges, and meaningful connections, Girl Scouts helps girls develop the skills and confidence to thrive in school, careers, and life.

One example of their impact is Girl Scouts RISE, a restorative justice program supporting girls involved with or at risk of entering the juvenile justice system. Through RISE, one young woman overcame significant challenges and is now off probation, drug-free, working toward her GED, attending cosmetology school, and mentoring other girls in the program. She hopes to eventually earn a degree in psychology to help young people facing similar challenges.

As 11-year-old Girl Scout Nadia shares, "Girl Scouts is more than just cookies; it's about empowering young people."

Want to get involved? Girl Scouts – Diamonds is always looking for volunteers who can encourage, support, and inspire the next generation of leaders. You can also make a difference by donating to support opportunities for girls.

🍪 Upcoming Events:
Cookie Palooza: December 12, 2026 | 10 AM–3 PM | Fort Smith, Conway, and Jonesboro
Camp 479 River Valley: April 17, 2027 | 6–10 PM | A fundraiser supporting Girl Scouts – Diamonds

🌟 Affiliate Spotlight: Teen Action & Support Center (TASC) (TASC) 🌟

Meet another incredible organization in our Jones Community for Nonprofits affiliate network: Teen Action and Support Center (TASC)!

TASC supports teens ages 13–19 and their families as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and work toward becoming the best version of themselves. Through critical, preventive and supportive programs and services, TASC provides whole-person support at no-to-low cost.

One program making a lasting impact is First Step, which supports young parents as they work toward graduating high school while learning how to be the best parents they can be. Last school year, 100% of teens participating in First Step graduated on time — creating new possibilities for themselves and their children and helping build generational change.

[💬] “Support does not erase the past, but it can change the future.” — Former TASC counseling student, now pursuing a master’s degree in Community Counseling

Want to learn more or get involved with TASC? Visit tascnwa.org or follow on social media to learn more about their programs, services and ways to connect.

🎲 Coming up: All In for Teens, TASC’s charity casino night, is coming up in February! Stay tuned to TASC’s social media for more event details.

We’re proud to have TASC as part of our Jones Community for Nonprofits affiliate network and grateful for the work they’re doing to support teens and families across Northwest Arkansas.

🌟 Affiliate Spotlight: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance 🌟

Meet one of the incredible organizations in our Jones Community for Nonprofits affiliate network: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA)!

Founded in 2010, SDIA works to transform the lives of military members, veterans, first responders and their families through posttraumatic growth. Their approach goes beyond a single program or moment of support — they work to engage, assist and empower those they serve.

Through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH and opportunities to continue serving through their Disaster Response Missions, SDIA creates a full-circle support system that helps people find connection, purpose and hope long after a program ends.

And that impact can be life-changing:

💬 “SDIA Outdoor Adventures have truly transformed my life! I no longer feel alone—instead, I’ve gained a renewed sense of purpose and, most importantly, HOPE!”

Want to get involved? You can become a volunteer or member of SDIA and help support their mission to serve those who have served our communities and country.
