Eighty-two years ago, thousands of young men stepped off landing craft and into the unknown. 🇺🇸

They ran through surf stained with chaos, under relentless enemy fire, knowing many would never make it home. Yet they moved forward anyway, running toward danger to protect the flock, capturing the true essence of a Sheep Dog.

The beaches of Normandy became a testament to courage, sacrifice, and duty. The legacy of D-Day did not end on June 6, 1944. It lives on in every generation of service members who have answered the call to defend freedom.

Today, we pause to remember those who stormed the beaches, those who never returned, and the enduring impact of their sacrifice.

All gave some. Some gave all.

This year at Heroes Ranch, we were thrilled to witness the first blooms in our Poppy Fields. 🇺🇸

These beautiful flowers are part of our Blooms of Remembrance Campaign, created in partnership with Heartsgood Farms. Our specially curated perennial poppy seed mix is designed to be simply scattered and enjoyed. Once established, the poppies will reseed and return year after year, blooming around Memorial Day as a lasting tribute to the fallen heroes who gave so much for our country.

Yesterday we hosted the Grand Opening and Dedication of several new facilities at SDIA Heroes Ranch 🇺🇸

Dedications included our Equine Arena in honor of LTCOL Dick White, our Granite Mountain Training Facility, in honor of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots, and two bedrooms dedicated to Master Chief Steve Flemming, and Detective Ryan Hendrix.

Several family members of these fallen heroes were in attendance along with supporters and staff where we spent the morning visiting each dedication location, speaking about these heroes, their lives, and the legacy they have left behind.

These spaces will welcome so many heroes in the future for healing, and refuge all in the honor and memory of these Sheep Dogs!

Thank you all, who have dedicated your time, energy, and funds to make these moments possible! Our work to engage our military, veterans, & first responders would not be possible without your support! 💪🇺🇸

After completing 5-days of intensive Posttraumatic Growth training at SDIA Heroes Ranch, these ladies will now embark on a 90-day journey to apply what they have learned, and in their daily lives!

Welcome home, warriors!❤️🇺🇸

It’s not enjoy the long weekend…. it’s thank you. Thank you to the selfless Sheep Dogs that made the ultimate sacrifice - giving their lives to serve our country!

Today we joined Carry The Load with our very own Sheep Dog Impact Assistance Ruck March through SDIA Heroes Ranch 🇺🇸

We walked in solidarity with our fallen heroes and their families, and paused to recognize and honor Soldiers and Sailors who have permanent dedications including the Tuskegee Airmen, Sergeant Nicole G., and Sr. Chief Joseph P. Engleman.
