👉🏼 Join us for a community workshop focused on understanding and responding to abuse & violence on February 19th, from 6-8 pm, at the Centerton City Courthouse.

This month we'll be talking about the Power & Control Wheel and how it relates to violence and abuse. The Power and Control Wheel reframes domestic violence as a systematic pattern of coercion, not a series of arguments or “bad days.” Understanding it is critical for prevention, survivor support, law enforcement response, and policy design.

Door prizes will be given away!

This multidisciplinary workshop will take place on a monthly basis and will bring together professionals from advocacy, legal, and community sectors to explore:

✦ How power and control operate in abusive relationships
✦ The impact of violence on individuals, families, and communities
✦ How communities and professionals can respond in informed, survivor-centered ways

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Community members, service providers, and professionals seeking greater understanding, practical tools, and insight into responding to abuse and violence.

This event is hosted by Freedom Finder in partnership with the Centerton Police Department and the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office.
