This month's gaming will be on THIS Saturday March 7 and Saturday, March 21 at the Bentonville Public Library. Come and play some board games! Beginners welcomed and we will teach any game. See you there!

Whatcha doin' Saturday?

Come play board games with us!

GeekCon fans LOVED our Board Game Lounge hosted by Meeple Academy, so we're making space for tabletop players every month!

Here's the situation:

BPL will be joined by Meeple Academy to curate a selection of games on a theme. We'll be there to help explain the games and answer any questions about other games you might enjoy.

The event is held every first and third Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Players are encouraged to select games from the library's collection--let us know if we don't have what you're looking for. Players must sign out the game while at the event and are responsible for the condition of the games until are signed back in.

Find a game you like and want to bring it home? You can do so at the front desk.

Players are also welcome to bring their own board games, but we ask that you check in your games with Meeple Academy. BPL and MA are not responsible for loss or damage of patron-owned games.

Since the library closes promptly at 5:00 pm, we have hard stops:
• No games can be started after 3:30 pm.
• All games must be completely put away by 4:30 pm.

Thanks to Meeple Academy of the Ozarks for helping make this dream a reality!

Meeple Academy hosted a Board Game Design Jam with Girl Scouts (Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas) in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Sunday, January 18 at their Older Girls Retreat. The girls went through three rounds of toolkits, learning how to creative problem solve with new components and challenges. They worked together in groups to design and present innovative games and earned their Board Game Challenge Badge!

Thank you Panda Game Manufacturing (Panda Game Manufacturing) for supplying the kits and making it possible for this troop!
