A new month means a new roundup of events happening across our Jones Community for Nonprofits network! From community celebrations and volunteer opportunities to weekly bike rides, fundraisers and even a weekend under the stars, there are plenty of ways to get connected this September.
📌 Weekly Rides | Latinas En Bici
September 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 | 6:45pm | Shiloh Plaza
Ride from Shiloh Plaza to Lake Fayetteville every Wednesday in September! These comfortable, joyful, no-drop rides are all about connection, belonging and community — and everyone is welcome. No registration needed!
📌 Space to Breathe – Women’s Retreat | NWA Space & Science
September 11–13 | Little Sugar Farm | Jane, Missouri
Step away from the noise for a weekend of astronomy, nature, great food, campfires, telescopes and nights under the stars. Space to Breathe is a weekend retreat for women looking for a little time away from the noise.

📌 AIM Fest | Autism Involves Me
September 12 | 10am–2pm | Gracepoint Church | 1201 McCollum Dr., Bentonville
Celebrate, connect and support the autism community at the 17th Annual AIM Fest! Families can enjoy activities, a community resource fair, food and drink trucks and plenty more while connecting with resources and one another.

📌 RISE Market Sales | PerspectAbility
September 12 | 9am–2pm | Jones Community for Nonprofits Parking Lot
Shop for a cause! RISE Marketplace gives new life to donated items through community sales and pop-ups, with proceeds supporting PerspectAbility and its work to create greater independence, opportunity and belonging for neurodivergent young adults.

📌 Parent/Teacher Conferences | Haas Hall Academy at the Jones Center

📌 Fresh Start 2026 | Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter
September 19 | 5pm– Midnight | The Compton | Downtown Bentonville
Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter’s signature fundraising gala is celebrating an extra-special milestone this year: 40 years of supporting survivors. Fresh Start 2026 will feature food and drinks, a silent auction, casino games, an after-party and more, all while supporting the shelter’s work across Northwest Arkansas.

📌 Beaver Lake Volunteer Day | H2Ozarks Cleaner Water Together
September 26 | 8am–12pm | Multiple check-in sites around Beaver Lake
Help care for the drinking water source for more than 600,000 people in Northwest Arkansas! Spend the morning cleaning up litter around Beaver Lake, then head to Hickory Creek Park to celebrate with free lunch, raffle prizes, a science fair and more. Cleanup supplies, snacks and T-shirts are provided.
