Ride from Shiloh Plaza to Lake Fayetteville every Wednesday in September! These comfortable, joyful, no-drop rides are all about connection, belonging and community — and everyone is welcome. No registration needed!

📌 Space to Breathe – Women’s Retreat | NWA Space & Science
September 11–13 | Little Sugar Farm | Jane, Missouri

Step away from the noise for a weekend of astronomy, nature, great food, campfires, telescopes and nights under the stars. Space to Breathe is a weekend retreat for women looking for a little time away from the noise.

📌 AIM Fest | Autism Involves Me

Shop for a cause! RISE Marketplace gives new life to donated items through community sales and pop-ups, with proceeds supporting PerspectAbility and its work to create greater independence, opportunity and belonging for neurodivergent young adults.

📌 Fresh Start 2026 | Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter

Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter’s signature fundraising gala is celebrating an extra-special milestone this year: 40 years of supporting survivors. Fresh Start 2026 will feature food and drinks, a silent auction, casino games, an after-party and more, all while supporting the shelter’s work across Northwest Arkansas.

📌 Beaver Lake Volunteer Day | H2Ozarks Cleaner Water Together
September 26 | 8am–12pm | Multiple check-in sites around Beaver Lake

Help care for the drinking water source for more than 600,000 people in Northwest Arkansas! Spend the morning cleaning up litter around Beaver Lake, then head to Hickory Creek Park to celebrate with free lunch, raffle prizes, a science fair and more. Cleanup supplies, snacks and T-shirts are provided.

🌟 Affiliate Spotlight: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance 🌟

Meet one of the incredible organizations in our Jones Community for Nonprofits affiliate network: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA)!

Founded in 2010, SDIA works to transform the lives of military members, veterans, first responders and their families through posttraumatic growth. Their approach goes beyond a single program or moment of support — they work to engage, assist and empower those they serve.

Through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH and opportunities to continue serving through their Disaster Response Missions, SDIA creates a full-circle support system that helps people find connection, purpose and hope long after a program ends.

And that impact can be life-changing:

🌟 Affiliate Spotlight: Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese 🌟

Meet one of our Jones Community for Nonprofits affiliate organizations: Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese!

The Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese is dedicated to nurturing community wellbeing and expanding economic opportunities for Marshallese families through healthcare access, educational workshops, leadership development, and strategic partnerships.

While rooted in the Marshallese community, ACOM provides culturally grounded, community-centered services that support Pacific Islander families across Arkansas. Their work meets immediate needs while empowering individuals and families with the tools and resources to build long-term self-reliance.

One powerful example of their impact came after the May 2024 tornadoes in Northwest Arkansas. Working alongside trusted partners like the Red Cross and AenEmmaan, ACOM helped deliver meals, repair homes, and support families affected by the storm. For one family whose child was undergoing cancer treatment, ACOM quickly coordinated resources to restore electricity and provide the life-sustaining equipment they urgently needed—demonstrating the strength of community partnerships and compassionate action.

Our friends at the American Red Cross are hosting an upcoming blood drive at the Jones Community for Nonprofits Rogers, and they need our community’s help to keep hospital shelves stocked during the busy summer months.

Every donation can make a difference for patients in need, and filling appointment slots ahead of time helps the Red Cross prepare, reduce wait times, and meet their goal of collecting 20 pints of blood.

Strong communities are built through strong partnerships!

We're proud to partner with the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, Milestone Construction Company, LLC, and FFA students from 8 regional schools to plant three native rain gardens on the Jones Community for Nonprofits Springdale campus.

These rain gardens will help capture and filter stormwater runoff, improve water quality, support pollinators and wildlife, and demonstrate practical green infrastructure solutions that can be replicated throughout Northwest Arkansas.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the collaboration behind it. Through the Growing Green Cost Share Program, the Illinois River Watershed Partnership is helping make this investment possible, while Milestone Construction has generously donated equipment and operator support. Arkansas FFA students are contributing their time and learning while bringing the project to life.

When nonprofits, businesses, educators, students, and community partners come together, the impact extends far beyond a single project.

We're grateful for everyone helping create a more sustainable future for our campus and our community. 🌱

🌺 Join us in celebrating the rich history, culture, and resilience of Northwest Arkansas' Marshallese community.

The Marshallese Educational Initiative (MEI) invites the community to a FREE Solidarity Concert, Arts & Culture Exhibit on June 30 at the Fayetteville Public Library Event Center.

This special evening will feature:
• A live performance by MARK Harmony of an original album sharing stories of Marshallese history, culture, resilience, and the lasting impacts of nuclear testing in the Marshall Islands
• Traditional Marshallese dances and songs
• Youth-created artwork
• Traditional Marshallese handicrafts and cultural displays

Through art, music, and storytelling, this event aims to foster understanding, education, and dialogue while uplifting Marshallese voices and experiences.
