Rockwall Police Officers Association

We are committed to those we serve and ensuring the safety for our citizens. The RPOA was founded in 1979 on integrity and morals which we still uphold today.

We are a liaison between administration and officers and are the voice of those we serve. In this day and age, despite the lack of funding and personnel, we do our very best to make sure you and your family feel safe and comfortable, so that while we patrol the streets, you sleep soundly. Please think of us in your prayers and thoughts; this is truly a dangerous job. Businesses are encouraged to help support our Mission by sponsoring a “Donor Ad” on our website and directly connecting with our membership and community partners. Please fill out the business supporter contact form for more information. The Rockwall Police Officers Association, in serving the people of Rockwall, strives to reduce crime and provide the safest environment possible, for our residents and business alike, through three core principals:

- Partnering with our community members

- Providing greater communication through a robust website and social media platform

- Partner with local business to create a safe and profitable economic environment

For emergency information please call 911 or see the Rockwall Police Department website found here at www.rockwallpolice.org.

Poor DPD detectives are working overtime today to make sense of these shootings. What started as a Halloween holiday turned out a nightmare for many! Prayers for all involved. 💙

Update on our front doors. . . They are officially fixed and operational!

Thank you to everyone who voiced that it was unacceptable and to city administrators for finding a way to get the repairs completed. 🚪

Scare on the Square turned out to be an amazing event. Kids and costumes galore, not to mention the dog parade. It was a fun day for all!

North Texas lost two officers in less than 24 hours. Two! One lost in an ambushed gunfight and the other after suffering an on duty medical emergency. A truly tragic day!

Please keep the families of Van Zandt County Deputy Adam Sherifi and Ft Worth PD Officer Brian Gentry in your prayers. Godspeed 💙
