UPDATE: The Rockwall Police Department has arrested 3 adults and 1 juvenile in connection to these burglaries. They have been charged with multiple counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, hit and run and evading arrest.

The Rockwall Police Department is investigating multiple burglaries of motor vehicles that occurred overnight in the Timber Creek Estates area of Rockwall. If you have noticed that your vehicle was burglarized overnight please contact the Rockwall Police Department at (972)771-7717 and ask to make a report.

Another year is coming to an end and we are thankful for so much. As I took my kids around for Halloween I thought that I missed my chance to thank all those who decorated for the holiday. I don't want to forget for Christmas. So here is the post. If you see a house that has decorated for Christmas, and would like to thank them take a picture and post it along with your praise. Happy holidays!

Question to those playing and not playing Pokemon go. I have noticed much more activity outside due to the launch of this new game. It is possible to get Pokestops on the walking paths. Should we try to get Pokestops inside the neighborhood to encourage people to keep moving?

As we start to prepare for the next annual meeting it might help the Board to know what they will be asked when the meeting happens. If you have any questions or concerns please ask them here so the Board has a chance to look for answers before the meeting.

The HOA met today at the Rockwall library. Good news for the homeowners on the wall, repairs on the wall have begun. More are in the works for other spots. This is very expensive and will be done in segments.
On Rochelle the wood fence needs repairs or replacing. The options are 25k for full replacement, 5k for repairs, or weekend fence repair party and we try to patch it ourselves. No one was able to take charge of this project so it will be tabled for now.
We may need three more board members for the upcoming year if you have interest email the HOA.
Financials will be up loaded soon. So keep an eye on the website for that.

I'm back!! Now that I am off the board I can start trying to run this again. New news: board meetings are quarterly, two new board members where elected. That brings the numbers to four board members. Someone new will be doing inspections this year. My standards were lax so keep your yards looking good. They are looking for help finding someone to fix the wall. If you know someone, let them know. We had money left at the end of the year that rolled over to this year. They have come a long way from going broke to having money left.

So as of now we have assigned two new members to the board. Goals for the year are to figure out what type of budget we will need, fix the brick wall, cut costs, start a few community programs, and have more events. We want to increase communication between neighbors and find a way to make this community a more connected place to love.
