We are excited to celebrate another Republican Women Scholarship Fund recipient, Libby Cheek!


Libby attends Rockwall High School where she is involved in Student Council, Interact Club, PALS (Peer Assistance & Leadership Class), and National Honors Society. She has been a member of National Charity League Lonestar chapter since seventh grade she has held several leadership roles including president and volunteered over 500 hours throughout her time in NCL.

She was one of seven Junior girls to be chosen for Texas Bluebonnet Girls State and the only junior girl to be picked to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) through Rockwall Noon Rotary Club. Libby has also earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award three times.
Libby will attend Louisiana State University (LSU) this fall where she will begin her studies on the Pre-Law track. She plans on majoring in Political Science with a minor in finance with the goal of becoming a corporate attorney.

We are so proud of Libby and look forward to watching her flourish! 🌟🌟🌟

Another wonderful Republican Women Scholarship Fund being celebrated is Myla Brizendine.

Myla Brizendine, a senior at Rockwall High School, will attend Texas A&M University to study Biomedical Engineering with plans to pursue a career in Pediatric Prosthetics and Orthotics. Ranked #3 out of 683 students and the top-ranking female in her class, Myla has demonstrated exceptional leadership through Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Students, Mu Alpha Theta, National Charity League, and service through Lakepointe Church Children’s Ministry. She has volunteered more than 200 hours through National Charity League and participated in the prestigious Bernice and Brudus Meyerson Program at Scottish Rite Hospital.

Congratulations Myla, we look forward to all the great thing to come! 🌟🎓🌟

We are so happy to announce another Republican Women Scholarship Fund recipient Brynn Rice.

Brynn Rice, a senior at Rockwall High School, will attend the University of Texas at Tyler to major in Finance. During high school, Brynn was actively involved in PALS, Fellowship of Christian Students, NHS, and served as Captain of the Varsity Golf Team. Her faith and volunteer service through her church have remained foundational throughout her academic and extracurricular achievements.

Congratulations Brynn, we can’t wait to see all that you achieve!!🌟🌟

We are proud to celebrate another Republican Women Scholarship Fund recipient for her hard work and dedication.

Kamryn Hampton, a senior at Rockwall High School, plans to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to major in Political Science with future aspirations in law. A dedicated soccer athlete for 15 years, she has competed on travel teams and the Lady Jackets Varsity Team while also completing internships with Judge Ben Massar, Judge Russo, Cindy Horne, Jennifer Ashmore, and local law enforcement agencies. Kamryn is deeply rooted in her faith and strives to exemplify servant leadership in all areas of her life.

We are excited to introduce another 2026 Republican Women Scholarship Fund recipient, as a true testament to the community’s devotion and dedication to our students. 🌟

Karlie Skipper, a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School, plans to attend the University of Arkansas to pursue a degree in Nursing. With a passion for helping others and improving healthcare, Karlie maintained a 4.5 GPA throughout high school while serving as the varsity coach’s assistant for four years. She is a two-time recipient of Collin College’s highly competitive Dual Credit Health Science Professions Leadership Award and remains active in church volunteer work and community service.

Congratulations Karlie! 🎓

What an incredible honor it is to serve alongside such an amazing group of women through the Republican Women’s Scholarship Fund. Investing in these young ladies, encouraging their dreams, and helping support their futures through scholarships is truly a blessing.

Education, leadership, service, and community matter, and we are so proud to play a small part in helping these young women continue their journey and achieve their goals.
