At just 14 years old, Anitah became a child bride.

She was one of seven children, and after her mother left, her father turned to alcohol. With no money to send the children to school or provide for them, Anitah’s father and stepmother sold her into marriage.

Then Anitah met Rev. Kule & Amaha Ministry. Now, at 20 years old, she is in 11th grade and dreams of becoming a doctor.

“The support that allows me to go to school gives me hope. Every day, I remember that there is someone who believes in me, and that encourages me to work even harder.”

When CRI missionary Jamie first met Hamiton, he attended preschool at the Nsanganiza Care Center five days a week. There, he received both an education and nutritious meals.

Today, Hamiton has graduated from NCC, and his family has grown! His mother recently welcomed a baby boy into the family. They also welcomed Vanilla, a little girl who had lost her own mother. Now, both children have the same opportunity Hamiton once had—to receive an education their family couldn’t otherwise afford.

Welcome home, Templeton Family! We’re so thankful for the time you spent working alongside Jessica this past month!

Your time in Chihuahua was packed with opportunities to serve—from hosting a soccer sports camp and medical clinic to helping with VBS and a women’s conference. You even tackled a few construction projects!

When Guru and Sakshi returned home from school for the summer, they learned that their father had stopped picking up his HIV medication. Without anyone to remind them, the kids soon stopped getting their own medicine, too.

Our partner 'J' visited the family and reminded them how essential it is for them to take their HIV medicine. He reminded Guru and Sakshi that their diagnosis doesn't define their lives, and urged them to keep pursuing their education.

Today, the whole family is on the mend and looking forward to a bright future.

Welcome back from Mexico! What a special week serving alongside Jessica in Chihuahua!

This team poured into the kids at Vida Victoriosa, shared the Gospel, and made space for women to be refreshed and equipped through a Strength & Dignity conference. They even made sure the kiddos had plenty of fun while their moms participated!

We love seeing teams use their time and gifts to encourage the people CRI serves. And we’re especially thankful for the seeds (and succulents) they planted throughout the week! 🌱

Meet Jackson & Blessing Rowland, our International Missionary Partners in Nigeria.

When they opened Grace & Knowledge Academy in 2011, they dreamed of creating a place where children could receive both an education and the hope of the Gospel. Today, more than 200 students are enrolled between the Academy and High School, and Bible Clubs help reach even more children in their community.
