Kindness Wins and Madison Keys are pleased to announce the first-ever Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation “Kindness Wins” Scholarships to Averi Vroman and Matteo Gomez!

This scholarship was established to award two graduating high school seniors who are currently active on the Rock Island High School Tennis Teams $1500 each to further their education. Recipients must complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service and provide a letter of recommendation.

Madison Keys was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois and, through Kindness Wins, strives to give back to the community!

Kindness Wins and Madison Keys are pleased to award a $1000 grant to Project ReLove! Run by Britton Leo, a varsity high school tennis player, Project ReLove is a 501c3 dedicated to spreading love, opportunity, and hope to young people through small acts that make a big difference.

This grant from Kindness Wins will help them provide tennis shoes and more to underserved youth in Detroit, because they say: “Access to proper footwear is often a barrier that prevents kids from fully participating in sports like tennis — a sport that not only builds physical health, but also teaches confidence, discipline, and community. Every pair of shoes we provide will be a step toward empowering a young person and spreading kindness through sport.”
