SAVES Project Welcome to The S.A.V.E.S Project!

We are a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on connecting vulnerable person, the community, and first responders through education and awareness. The S.A.V.E.S Project was established in 2025 by the Rochester police department to promote awareness and educate first responders, the community and the family or guardians of vulnerable person.​ Our goal with S.A.V.E.S is to foster a safer, more

compassionate community by developing a comprehensive and empathetic program. Through education, awareness and tailored engagement, we strive to build trust, ensure safety and promote inclusion of all vulnerable persons, honoring the dignity and unique needs of every individual.

S.A.V.E.S Project has been working hard promoting safety, awareness, and education! Starting at 11:30 PM last night we have been training the AMAZING deputies of the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

It is wonderful to receive the positive feedback from each training session and the enthusiasm about the program. A big thank you to our board member Erin and mini admin Christina for being present and assisting in this task.

Officer Brenna here with an important message!

It is important to remember how small differences can leave BIG impacts.

Our mini admin Christina recently saw a Sheriff Deputy on a traffic stop and did not understand why they had a different type of badge. Christina was convinced the individual was impersonating a police officer and they were not safe, simply because of the small difference.

With the help of our friends at Macomb County Sheriff's Office, we were able to show Christina and explain that Police Officers, State Troopers and Sheriff Deputies were all there to help keep her safe!

Here at S.A.V.E.S Project, we want to promote positive encounters for everyone. We want to thank all of our partner agencies who help us accomplish this task!

✨🌟COMMUNITY EVENTS COMING YOUR WAY FROM S.A.V.E.S Project!🌟✨

I have been so excited to make this announcement! S.A.V.E.S Project has been meeting with local departments to host a community event which will help us gather important data for those who wander and elope!

Our Mini Administrator Christina has come up with the idea of Cops & Robbers / Hide & Seek! Participants of all ages will be given a type of infrared technology to wear, and we will be analyzing placement and quality of product to determine what we should to provide participants.

More information will be following soon! We are working hard with our research team to ensure the community will enjoy this amazing event while we obtain the best information possible. Stay tuned! We will be releasing more within the next few weeks!

As you can see, I have switched to midnight shift! That won’t slow us down here at S.A.V.E.S Project though. We have several upcoming meetings and are currently working our way into 2 more counties!!
