Join Michigan Men's Health Foundation on Saturday, September 26 at our NEW location, the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, from 9am to 3pm.

Get free health screenings for high blood pressure, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, diabetes, mental health, dental, and so much more. Plus, free lunch and free haircuts for all attendees!

☀️ August is peak sun season and this Men's Health Monday, we are talking about something men tend to brush off. A single bad sunburn can damage your DNA and raise your skin cancer risk for years to come. By age 70, at least 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer. Protect your skin. It is not too late.

A sunburn is more than a short-term nuisance. Even a single severe burn can damage DNA, speed aging and increase melanoma risk, making prevention essential at any age.

Men are less likely to see a doctor, less likely to talk about what is wrong, and more likely to be diagnosed when the news is already hard. Michigan Men’s Health Foundation exists to change that.

Since 2009, we have worked to close that gap: free health screenings for men who would otherwise go without, financial support for families navigating prostate cancer treatment, education and honest conversation in the places men already gather, and care carried directly into communities that have long been overlooked.

We are proud to join the Rocket Community Challenge alongside nonprofits working to strengthen Detroit and the state around it. It runs now through August 28, and every dollar you give goes straight into this work.

What a week! Cogs & Kegs and the Run for the Ribbon brought our community together in the best way. A huge thank you to our participants, sponsors, volunteers, first responders, and vendors for making our events a success.

The funds raised will provide financial support for men undergoing prostate cancer treatment and bring free health screenings to men across Michigan. This is what More Life looks like!
