Plan ahead to join us tomorrow at the Annual Rochester Area Hometown Christmas Parade!

❄️ Road Closures: Main Street will be closed on Sunday from 1-5 pm from Second to Tienken. East and West Third and Fourth Streets will be closed from Main to the Alleys. University will be closed from Wilcox to the East Alley.

⏰️ Parade starts at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025. There will be heavy police presence at the parade. Dress warm because it will be cold.

🎄 Parade Route: The parade travels west on Tienken from Stoney Creek High School to Rochester Road. From there, it moves south on Rochester Road to W. Third Street to Walnut.

Police Chief's Message

We have more upcoming festivities in the City of Rochester. The following is a glimpse of what is transpiring this upcoming weekend.

Kris Kringle Event
Friday, December 5th from 4 pm to 10 pm and Saturday, December 6th from noon to 10 pm. The event will take place on W. Fourth Street between Main and Walnut. W. Fourth from Main to Pine is closed. Walnut is closed at W. Fourth on the north and south sides. The West Parking Deck is open for business. There will be a variety of vendors, live music, food, and a beer tent.

Annual Christmas Parade
Our Annual Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 7,2025 at 2 pm. There will be several road closures from 1 pm to 5 pm. The parade will travel west on Tienken from Stoney Creek High School to Rochester Road. From there, south on Rochester Road to W. Third Street to Walnut. Main Street will be closed on Sunday from 1pm to 5 pm from Second to Tienken. East and West Third and Fourth Streets will be closed from Main to the Alleys.
