On behalf of MELCORR, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of Munga Elocho. Munga and his family are part of the MELCORR family, and we will continue to stand with them in prayer and support.

Refugees come to this country seeking safety and a better future. It is heartbreaking to see gun violence continue to impact our refugee, immigrant and the city of Rochester.

Munga was an amazing young man. He did not deserve to die. His life mattered.

Rest in peace, Munga. 🕊️
