More color. More beauty. More life in downtown Rochester.

This weekend , Downtown ROCs invested and installed four new decorative planters in St. Joseph’s Park. The potters were filled with 18 dahlias to help make this unique downtown gathering space even more vibrant and welcoming.

As the dahlias grow and bloom throughout the summer, they'll add a beautiful splash of color to one of downtown's most treasured green spaces.

Next time you're downtown, stop by St. Joseph’s Park and see the transformation for yourself! 🌺

What a busy start to the weekend!!

We’re excited to share that we’ve completed the corner streetscape at Main & Chestnut, adding nearly 70 perennials and 13 annuals to help bring more beauty, color, and life to downtown Rochester.

Small improvements add up, and together they help create a more vibrant, walkable, and inviting downtown for everyone.

Thank You to Our May Volunteers!

Every flower planted, every bag of litter collected, every park cleaned, and every hour donated helped make downtown Rochester a little brighter this month.

We are incredibly grateful to the volunteers who rolled up their sleeves and joined us throughout May to beautify public spaces, care for our downtown parks, and help create a cleaner, more welcoming city for everyone.

Your dedication, energy, and belief in our mission remind us that meaningful change happens when people come together and take pride in their community. Because of you, downtown Rochester continues to become a more vibrant, beautiful, and connected place.

From all of us at Downtown ROCs: THANK YOU for being part of this movement and helping us turn blight into beauty, one project at a time. ❤️

BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT MAIN & CHESTNUT

Another neglected downtown corner is being reimagined.

Downtown ROCs is proud to begin Phase 2 of the Main & Chestnut streetscape transformation.

This next phase includes landscaping designed to bring more life, walkability, and positive energy to downtown Rochester.

We believe every restored corner matters. Small transformations, block by block, help create a downtown people are proud to experience, invest in, and enjoy.

Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and partners helping us make it happen.

🌼 More beauty
🚶 More walkability
🤝 More community pride

Lawn Street is complete!!!

This past weekend, Downtown ROCs finished the landscaping on Lawn St. We added 6 more annuals and wrapped everything up with fresh mulch, helping transform another downtown space into something cleaner, greener, and more welcoming for the community!

What a difference a little beautification can make. This weekend we installed 3 stunning planters outside 214 Andrews Street near St. Paul, helping transform another corner of downtown Rochester into a more vibrant and welcoming space.

These before-and-after photos show how small changes can create big impact for our community. More beauty. More pride. More life downtown. 🌸🪴

Last night, with the help of some wonderful volunteers, over 98 pounds of litter was removed from the 3.5 mile route of tonight’s Chase Corporate Challenge through downtown Rochester. Amazing what can be accomplished in less than an hour!

Thank you to Tom, Shal, and Kent for your efforts cleaning the back half of the race path!
