Our new member Lindsay was highlighted by USMS!

After 24 years away from competitive swimming, Lindsay Wojewuczki, now 41, is back on the blocks.

The FAST Masters swimmer felt the itch to return while watching her daughter’s swim meets. This year, she decided to make time for herself in the pool again.

Making that comeback fit into a busy life hasn’t been easy. Lindsay has been waking up at 4:30 a.m. to train before heading to work as a hairstylist. After only six weeks back in the pool, she made her long-course racing debut at the 2026 USMS Summer National Championships.

She clocked a 29.03 in the 50 freestyle and is already looking ahead.

β€œIt didn’t feel that great, but it was my first time ever swimming long course,” she said. β€œI love seeing myself progress further as I keep going. I’m going to keep training and competing at National events for as long as I can.”

Twenty-four years away, and the pool still feels like home. Lindsay’s comeback is just getting started!
