Detroit Young Life Our Mission:

To introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith

Who We Are:

For middle school and high school students at the Cornerstone schools, the centerpiece of our Christ-centered enrichment efforts is Young Life. Young Life is a 75-year old, relationally-based ministry that goes after and seeks to serve kids “on their turf.” Through authentic relationships, the gospel takes on the personal and approachable aspects needed to resonate with disillusioned youth or those disengaged with the church. Nationally, Young Life operates in all 50 states and partners with over 6,000 schools and community centers. Cornerstone is now part of that number, with Bible Study and/or Club currently available at three of our five schools; in time, these programs will be accessible to students at all Cornerstone campuses.

We’re building something big — and we want YOU on the team. If you’ve got heart for Detroit youth, energy for community, and passion to make a real impact, this is your moment. Let’s grow the movement together.

Pull up to our Leader Interest Meeting on August 22, 12–4 PM at 1825 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, please contact us to see how you can be involved!
