Even Captain Picard wears Tartan. You can wear Tartan as well at our Tartan Day event April, 11th hosted by the Scottish Heritage Society of the Rochester Area, Inc. Tickets on sale at www.rocscots.org. "Engage" and "make it so"!

Dancers from this group will be at our Tartan Day Celebration to demonstrate a couple of dances and get us on the dance floor. They meet on Tuesday evenings. Facebook message them to learn more. They have two meetings before our event. Be part of the fun.

I’m ready to try Scottish Country Dancing! What should I bring to my first class?

• Water
• Sneakers or other soft-soled shoes (protect our wooden floors by changing to dry shoes before dancing)

That’s it! No partner needed but you are welcome to bring a friend. Oh, and a great attitude ready to have some fun!
