The City of Rochester is exploring the creation of a Friends of Parks organization, a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting our parks, trails, and public green spaces.

Across the country, Friends organizations help preserve parks, organize volunteers, advocate for improvements, and strengthen community connections.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Rochester's public spaces.

Summer is in full bloom at Green Visions.

Despite July's heat, our farm team has been hard at work planting, weeding, and preparing for one of our most colorful seasons yet.

Some exciting updates:

🌼 750 donated Dahlia bulbs are thriving.
🌸 Our Celosia, Statice, and other flowers are beginning to bloom.
🌱 Our Zinnia fields are healthy after volunteers helped remove invasive bindweed.

None of this happens without our incredible volunteers and community partners who show up to help the garden grow.

Every flower planted today helps create a more beautiful Rochester tomorrow. 💚
