After more than a year of prayer, planning, and watching God faithfully provide, we are celebrating the opening of the Shoba Ministry CarePoint! 🎉

With 104 children already enrolled, this new CarePoint is becoming a place filled with hope, care, growth, and the love of Christ for children and families in the community.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has prayed, given, sponsored, and stood alongside this project—including our church partner, Oviedo City Church.

This milestone is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness, and we can’t wait to see all He continues to do through Shoba Ministry CarePoint.

This amazing cake was made by Deborah, an 11th grader in Tanzania, through Christ’s Hope’s new vocational baking training program! 🎂

Programs like this help equip students with valuable skills that can open doors for future opportunities and income generation. We are so grateful for the incredible Tanzania team and for partners like MOBI Nations who help make vocational training possible.

Praise God for the gifts, creativity, and potential He has placed in each child, and for this exciting step forward!

There is still time to sign up to climb Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, with us! ⛰️

September 12–22, 2026, we’re heading to Tanzania for a life-changing adventure with a greater purpose. Every step helps raise funds to care for orphaned and vulnerable children in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Right now, we’re caring for 200 children—but with building improvements through Christ's Hope, we have the vision to serve more than 1,000 in the future! 🌟

Fundraising goal: $5,000–$10,000 per person
Bonus: the trip ends with a one-day safari to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Africa even more!

Meet Lenard! ✨

At 14 years old, Lenard is a kind and social boy from Tanzania who loves to learn, create, and help those around him. He enjoys repairing things, crafting, gardening, playing football, and even dancing—and dreams of one day becoming an electrician.

At home, Lenard helps by caring for his niece and taking on daily tasks, while his older sister works hard selling food to provide for their family after the loss of their parents.

But without consistent support, the education and resources he needs to reach that dream are out of reach.

We’ve shared more of Lenard’s story on our blog—and he is still in need of a sponsor. 🤍
