Thank you to The Outreach Project for the opportunity to utilize their platform in spreading our mission goal and networking with other Veteran Non-Profits who are working hard toward similar goals. We cannot thank Joshua Melching and Jonathan Hodge enough for giving us this opportunity, and frankly, for working their butts off to make this project happen. It takes a ton of time, effort, and passion to build a community that is focused on pushing the services and programs that exist for Veterans out to the world. These two are incredible.

Excited to announce our keynote speaker for the Evening of Valor Gala! Meet Joshua Melching; although his service cannot be summarized easily, we wanted to share a little bit about him and recognize that his mission aligns with Charlie Golf One. We cannot wait to hear what he has to say on 10.17.26. Thank you, Josh
Joshua Melching is a retired U.S. Air Force Special Warfare veteran who served 20 years as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller, completing multiple combat deployments across Afghanistan,Syria and Iraq. Today, he is co-founder of The Outreach Project, a national media and technology platform whose mobile app and podcast connect veterans, first responders, active duty service members, and their families with trusted nonprofit resources. He has briefed senior leaders at the White House on strengthening collaboration between government and the nonprofit community, helping bridge gaps in access, awareness and support. He continues to channel his combat-tested leadership into building solutions that create lasting impact for those who serve and those who have served. Joshua Melching

Last week we heard about the unexpected loss of John Collett and our hearts are hurting for his close circle of family and military brothers.
We had the opportunity to spend a weekend with these guys at last year's Evening of Valor and we feel so thankful that we got to experience John's energy and charisma. Sometimes you don't realize how small encounters can change everything. The brotherhood and loyalty that these guys exude is next to none- it is something that we all strive for- and it made a lasting impression on everyone who had a chance to spend time with the crew over here in Michigan. Thank you, John, for sharing a small part of your journey with us, and for being you. Words cannot express the heartbreak we feel for everyone who was close with him. We are thankful we got to experience your presence. Rest in Peace! RLTW

🚨HEARTBREAKING: John M. Collett, a retired Army Ranger and founder of the Three Rangers Foundation, has passed away this week.

Collett earned a Bronze Star for valor during the fierce 1993 battle in Mogadishu, Somalia — part of the events later known as “Black Hawk Down.” He was later injured while attending the Special Forces Qualification Course.

After leaving the Army, he worked as a military consultant and stuntman for the film Black Hawk Down.

Ronny Sweger, founder of The FEW, trained alongside Collett in the Special Forces Q Course and held him in high regard. The two organizations collaborated multiple times on powerful events supporting exceptional warriors.

John will be deeply missed.
