We have been quiet- mostly because we are on a mission- but tonight we had the amazing opportunity to do a meet and greet with 5 new amazing board members. This year we have been on a mission with board applications, property search and grant applications. We are so excited about our future and the upcoming Evening of Valor Gala. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, thank you so much to everyone who applied to serve on our board and to these 5 new individuals who are helping to serve our local Veterans. We are getting so close.

Today, we take a moment to honor these 4 soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice this week. These soldiers took an oath to protect our country, and we will speak their names and honor the Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage it took to stand for all of us and for the freedom we get to live in each and every single day.
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida; Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; and Spc. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa, died Saturday in Kuwait from an Iranian drone attack.
