A huge THANK YOU to all the families, friends, players, and volunteers who braved the storm on Saturday and joined us for our Concession Volunteer Contest Field Day!
The weather may have been wild, but it couldn't stop the fun as the Granny Mafia took on the Bingo Bandits in our "Anything But a Bat & Glove" Wiffle Ball showdown. The kids fully embraced their characters, and the day was filled with laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories.
A special shoutout to all of our concession stand volunteers throughout the season. Your time, energy, and smiles helped create a welcoming experience for players and families all year long. We couldn't do it without you!
🏆 Congratulations to Ryder Jones, winner of the Gold Chest Trophy for the longest hit of the day, and Noah Hart, recipient of the Pirate Trophy for showing the most team spirit during the game.

Today, our LMLL Juniors Baseball team played the final Little League game of their careers — fittingly, against their parents.
To these young men: we hope your years in Little League have given you more than just a love of the game. May you carry the friendships, life lessons, teamwork, sportsmanship, and memories you’ve made here with you for years to come.

Larch Mountain Little League 2026 season is beginning to wrap up, and honestly… it’s been a masterpiece of organized chaos.

The players showed incredible effort—equal parts hustle and interpretive dance. We saw base running that sometimes followed the rules of baseball… and sometimes followed the rules of “I panic and run somewhere.” But hey, the commitment was real. Nobody struck out without at least looking confident walking back to the dugout.

The coaches? Absolute legends. Somehow managing a lineup, teaching fundamentals, and answering 47 variations of “When do I bat?” every single game. You came in ready to build athletes and left as part-time therapists, snack distributors, and professional helmet finders.

And the parents…wow. The true endurance athletes of the season. You mastered the art of folding chairs, sideline coaching (whether requested or not), and yelling “GOOD EYE!” on pitches that landed somewhere near the parking lot. Also, special recognition for coordinating snacks like it’s a competitive sport—some of those post-game spreads deserved trophies.
Let’s not forget the teamwork: kids cheering, parents cheering louder, and at least one person per game asking, “Wait… how many outs are there?”

At the end of the day, it wasn’t always pretty but it was always entertaining. And somehow, between the missed catches, surprise home runs, and line-up negotiations, everyone got a little better…and a little louder.

See you next season—same time, same chaos. ⚾🥎
