I have a lot going on behind the scenes. I have to prep for next week's spay runs. Outreach. Vet appointments. Clean carriers

I also have a full baby load.

Twitch aka Bobblehead saw the vet today. Confirmed CH Cerebellar Hypoplasia.

He is doing OK, he can walk. Use the litter box and eat.

He has four known siblings (in my care) and none of them have any issues.

I can't imagine him outside with the this condition acting all feral. Thankfully he is with me, Thankfully humans are fine and he will live inside.

This is Bellingham.

I'm over shelters that send dogs out just to keep numbers down. Shelters have reached out to me. Offered money per transfer.

My answer is and will be no.

The bottom line answer is spay and neuter and stop bringing more animals into this world.

To my knowledge the Pittie rescue is facing 30 charges. But my guess is they won't stick. She will be let off. Swept under the rug.

I feel like I run this marathon every single day. All the stuff that has to get done. And needs to get done and bonus if you get all this done.

Today we accepted bottle babies. From a rescue I'm not fond of. Its OK to be in this field and not be fond of other rescues. Its not OK to trash them if you are just not fond of them. They are still helping animals and we will let it be. If they ask for help and I can help, I will.

All rescues work differently and that is OK.

Also why in the birth photos are they always screaming like this?

Found abandoned in an apartment when the renter moved out. The rescue that received them, does not bottle feed. And I do. So they landed with me.

I have marked them 7 days old.

I am currently bottle feeding 7 and I have 14 criticals, I tend to every three hours.

This makes my days busy. But that is OK. I will fight to give them all a good future.

Before anyone asks, I will not name the rescue or area. I'm actually not fond of a few rescues. And you know what? That is ok. I'm sure a few are not fond of me.

Incoming Bottle Babies

So Monday two kittens came in from a trapping situation and this will lead to a rant later. Stay tuned. Need to finish the project first and get all kittens off the ground.

Yesterday mom came in. Thank the Lord. Today we were expecting the last kitten. There were three known kittens.

Well dammit Marcie got Marcie mathed (fosters will understand). Three were in the trap tonight. We now have a total of 5 kittens. 5 isn't 3. I am not amused.

They are all warm and well fed tonight. The two boys have turned and are tame. I suspect in two days these three will also. Mom is being feral right now.

So far only one wobbles. Not available for adoption.
