May 14, 1941 – May 14, 2025
John David Hare passed away on his 84th birthday, May 14, 2025.
Born in British Columbia, Canada, John held dual citizenship and spent the last three decades in Independence Valley, Washington, where he lived a quiet life working his farmland—growing apples and various crops. He was a long-time member of the Lincoln Creek Grange and known for his self-reliance and straightforward nature. John was respected for his consistency and independence.

A celebration of life will be held to honor him:

Light refreshments — cookies and beverages — will be served after the service.
John lived life on his own terms and will be remembered in the way he chose to live—quietly and without fuss.
