Just a friendly reminder that the Tenino VFW is having their "High Roller" Texas Hold'em tournament on Saturday the 13th. You do not have to be a member or a Veteran. Food starts at noon and the game starts at 1pm. This is a $40 buy in and $5 high hand optional buy in. Winner takes 50% of the pot. 2nd place get 30% and 3rd place gets 20%. Must be 18 or older to play

We would really like to present the latest working updates to the new Veterans Memorial in Tenino; which has been a project almost a decade and a half in the making!

🙏🏻Thank you so much to all of our donors! Especially those who were able to contribute at the Honor Donor level 🙏🏻

It is so incredible to see our community come together in force to recognize the service and sacrifice of all our current and historic local hero’s 🇺🇸

Everything is really starting to take shape and become a physical reality that will surely leave an enduring legacy, educating and inspiring generations now and well into the distant future 🇺🇸

These wonderful pictures came courtesy of our longtime post member, former commander, and dedicated servant leader, Navy Combat Veteran, Walt M., who has also been working in close collaboration with our own Frank H., The Architect, Committee Lead, as well as all other distinguished participants and volunteers who have helped ensure this project finally reaches its long over overdue completion this year. To Everyone Who Showed Up & Supported Our Thursday Dinner Night at the VFW!
We are humbled and so very grateful 🙏🏻

Yesterday was probably the best showing we have had in recent memory at a dinner event!

Your support helped us raise nearly $150 in less than 1 hour; not counting all the generous tips received!

Huge Shout Out to Christina F. & Karen B. for taking the lead on organizing and executing this wonderful event from start to finish 🙏🏻

Showing up and supporting these events is very much appreciated by our team because it helps as we ultimately use what we earn to ‘give back’ through ‘voted upon’ Veteran support initiatives and other community service efforts throughout the year!
