The first Nutcracker cast meeting of 2026 is officially in the books!✨🩰

So many dancers, parents, questions, schedules, excitement, gratitude, and yes, a whole lot of details that go into putting a production like this on stage.

Like every nonprofit, Riverside Ballet BRAVA relies on the generous support of our community to keep the lights on, the dancers dancing, and the magic onstage.

This year, that support is more important than ever. We lost a grant we’d been counting on, creating an unexpected challenge as we work to bring The Nutcracker back to Riverside this December.

BRAVA: Alumni Edition ✨

Some dancers leave an impression. Some leave a legacy.

This beautiful collection of photos takes us back to the days when this extraordinary dancer graced the stage in David Allan’s The Nutcracker—bringing her artistry to Arabian, Snow, Columbine, and Chinese. And while Arabian may have been Anye’s signature role, these images are a wonderful reminder of the incredible range, elegance, and presence she brought to every character she danced.

Decades later, that connection to Riverside Ballet BRAVA remains just as beautiful. She is not only a cherished alumna, but one of our most generous and steadfast supporters.

We are so grateful that she continues to be part of the Riverside Ballet BRAVA family. ❤️
