There is a quality of attention that Ikebana asks of you — a slowing down, a willingness to see a single stem or branch as something worth considering carefully.
James Rose called his sculptural arrangement of rocks within this landscape "Rock Ikebana." The sensibility has always been here.
On June 16th at 10:30am, we're hosting an Ikebana workshop on the grounds — a chance to work with natural materials, create your own arrangement to take home, and perhaps find a quieter way of seeing that stays with you.
No experience necessary. Space is limited.
