Member meetings are held 5-6pm the 4th Tuesday of the month in the basement of the Ridgefield United Methodist Church 410 S Hillhurst.

We are a Ridgefield, WA based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is active in a community that supports, promotes and encourages art in all forms in an inclusive, safe environment. Membership is not required to attend.

The Art Association did their part during the downtown trick-or-treat event on Dec 30. Many of the members dressed up and handed out candy at the Art Gallery. As usual the Art Association were over the top and looked awesome. There were 100s of kids roaming all the downtown businesses. It was too much fun and the weather held out. We hope you have a fun and safe Halloween night!

Tonight‘s member meeting was all about connection, community, and the power of working together!
We were thrilled to welcome Adriana Baer, the incredibly connected and driven founder of the “I’m Into This Place” podcast, website, newsletter, and radio show. Adriana is passionate about bringing people, businesses, and organizations together while helping our community discover all of the wonderful things happening right here at home.
She shared the story behind what she does, why it matters, and some great ideas for how we can strengthen our own connections with other art organizations nearby.
We also heard from members, Holly and Kirt Minnich, who spoke about teaching and volunteering for our beloved Ridgefield Youth Arts Month happening in March. They explained the importance of this program and encouraged the membership to participate once again. We definitely appreciate this opportunity to give back to the arts and youth in our community!
Tonight was a wonderful reminder that building a stronger arts community is why we are all here.

On Sunday afternoon, the Clark County Arts Commission hosted an intimate artist’s talk at the Battleground Library with three local artists—JoyLynn Woodard, Hiroko Stumpf (both members of RAA) and Sharon Harbeck. All three are also members of the Battleground Art Alliance. The ladies shared stories, history, connections and conversations about their own artistic journey of how they came to be where they are in the art scene of Clark County at this moment. Prompted by great questions from Craig McCourry these local artists shared some really special moments that reminds us all of why we love art!

Same location, Same walls, ALL NEW ART!!
Please join us for a free public reception, for an all age show on November 7 from 3:30- 5:30 PM at the Ridgefield Community Library. The theme for this local art show, is “A Few of My Favorite Things“ we cannot wait to show you what this meant to our artists. Thank you to Ridgefield Community Library for their continued support of the arts!

We had another full house for the Oct 18 poetry reading at the ridgefieldartgallery. Featured artist Chris Bidleman spoke about his photography influences. Guest artist Ann Fleming described her artistic journey from ceramics to painting and now combining the two in her latest pieces on display in the gallery. It was a fun afternoon of several poetry readings by a wide range of ages and styles for all to enjoy. Please join us every 3rd Sunday of the month starting at 2:00 at the Ridgefield Art Gallery.
