A school levy is a local funding measure approved by voters for a specific period of time.

School levies help fund things that state funding often doesn’t fully cover, such as classroom support, student services, transportation, and school operations.

Because school levies are time-limited, they are reviewed and renewed periodically.

We are so grateful for this incredible community! To everyone who has volunteered, had conversations, waved signs, let us hang signs in their businesses, hosted information tables, and encouraged others to vote—THANK YOU. Your dedication to our schools and our students is inspiring.

Ridgefield, it’s crunch time! 🗳️ We need YOUR help to make sure every ballot is returned for Props 12 & 13 by Election Day. Here’s how you can take action:

✅ Check your ballot status at VoteWA.gov to ensure it’s been accepted.
✅ Text three friends to remind them to vote—then ask them to do the same!
âś… Join us for sign waving at 7:30 am on Feb 11 at Rosauers Roundabout to show your support in the community.
✅ Share one of our posts or create a post your social media why you’re voting YES for strong schools & a strong Ridgefield

If you haven't voted yet, know this: Prop 13 is a direct response to YOU.

Since last spring, both 'no' and 'yes' voters, along with Ridgefield families and community members, have come together through surveys, town halls, and coffee talks to share their ideas on how to build a much-needed third elementary school and gain voter approval. The result? A new elementary school with a reduced design footprint, partially funded by state matching funds and developer impact fees.

By saying YES on Prop 13, you're saying YES to:
đź’™ Reducing overcrowding in our elementary schools
đź’™ A smart, community-driven solution
đź’™ Leveraging outside funding to ease the tax-impact
đź’™ Reduction of long term tax impact from 30 years to 3

Ballots are due NOW. The last day to vote is this Tuesday Feb 11 at 8pm! Return by mail (no postage required) or a ballot box RACC (510 Pioneer St), Ridgefield Junction Park & Ride, or WSU Vancouver.
