As the season changes, we’re saying “see you next year” to Downtown Ridgefield’s beautiful flower baskets, and hello to changing leaves and a new season in the heart of our community.

This week, Ridgefield Main Street joined Main Street leaders from across Washington to learn, exchange ideas, and imagine what’s possible. As part of Washington Main Street and the national Main Street America network, we believe vibrant downtowns are the heartbeat of thriving communities.

In Ridgefield, that work comes to life through our Downtown businesses, volunteers, partners, and community members; people who invest their time, ideas, and resources into making Downtown stronger, more welcoming, and more connected.

As we reflect on the year so far, we’re grateful for everyone helping us preserve, promote, and invest in the heart of Ridgefield. Thank you for being a part of the work; we’ll see you Downtown!

Listen up… BirdFest & Bluegrass is tomorrow in the heart of Ridgefield!

Our unofficial Downtown spokesbird recommends enjoying the festivities, browsing the shops and grabbing something delicious. He’s been announcing this at the corner of Main Ave and Pioneer St. At considerable volume.

He’s also spotted some Main Street Moola sitting unused. Talk about a bird’s-eye view. Your junk drawer never stood a chance.

Bring your Moola to spend at participating businesses, and support our local.

See you Downtown. The bird is already here.

It takes a community to care for the heart of Ridgefield.

Earlier last week, some of our wonderful volunteers spent the afternoon giving the Stan Okinaka Courtyard a seasonal cleanup and refresh.

It may look like pulling weeds, refreshing planters and getting your hands a little dirty, but it’s all part of what keeps Downtown Ridgefield welcoming, vibrant and cared for.

So much of what Ridgefield Main Street does Downtown is possible because people in our community choose to show up, contribute their time and talents, and care about this place.

Our volunteers help us create beautiful spaces, bring people together, support our local businesses and keep the heart of Ridgefield vibrant.

A big thank you to this crew for showing up for our downtown. This is what community looks like.
