Congratulations to Soror Shelia Holmes on her election to represent the 15th Judicial Circuit on the Virginia State Bar Council, the governing body of the Virginia State Bar.

A dedicated attorney and public servant, Soror Shelia Holmes served 24 years as a prosecutor for the Cities of Petersburg and Richmond and currently practices family law as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid Works in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Soror Holmes will begin her three-year term on July 1, 2026.

We celebrate her outstanding achievement and continued commitment to justice, leadership, and service. Congratulations, Soror Shelia Holmes!

Early Voting Begins: June 19 – August 1, 2026 (Note: Some localities may begin June 18 due to the Juneteenth holiday).

Voter Registration Deadline: July 24, 2026

Primary Election Day: Tuesday, August 4, 2026 (Polls open 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

The Henrico County Alumnae Chapter was proud to be in attendance at the National Pan-Hellenic Council Metro Richmond Founders' Day Prayer Breakfast. It was a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with members of the Divine Nine, celebrate our shared commitment to service, and reflect on the theme, "Noble People Helping the Community."
