Spending some time in Merrill, Wisconsin today at the Lincoln County Economic Development Summit hosted by Lincoln County Economic Development and their Executive Director Sara Guild. A great turnout for the event today, with barely a parking spot available at the Bierman Building here in Merrill.

Yesterday I had the chance to celebrate Volunteerism with the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.

We are so fortunate to have these wonderful ladies doing great work in our Northwoods Communities.

Congratulations to everyone who made last Wednesday’s event at Rhinelander High School a success!

This was a first-of-its-kind experience in Rhinelander: tables were arranged by industry cluster, each staffed by a representative from a local company. Students from across the region joined in, connected with professionals from various industries, asked questions, and discovered both the employment opportunities available in our region and the talented future workforce currently in our schools.
