Show off your red, white, and blue spirit during the Patriotic Decor Challenge! 🇺🇸 As part of Rhinelander’s America 250 celebration, businesses and community members are invited to decorate their spaces with patriotic flair and submit a photo of their display for community voting on social media. Winning displays will receive prizes and help bring extra pride, nostalgia, and festive spirit to Rhinelander’s Fourth of July celebration.

On February 21st, the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department hosted the annual 2026 Oneida County Chili Cook-off, which drew participation from fire departments countywide. NVH was privileged to be chosen as one of three recipients of the event's proceeds. A meeting was subsequently held with three representatives from the Volunteer Fire Department to accept a generous donation of over $2,100. The photograph depicts, from left to right, Mr. Berg, Carla (NVH), Mr. Jelinek, and Mrs. Voelker. Sincere appreciation is extended to the Nokomis Volunteer Fire Department for their dedication and support.

Attention all co****le fans! NVH's Annual Co****le Tournament is scheduled for August 29th at Nick's Hodag Lanes, Rhinelander. Those not competing can support the event through volunteering or raffle basket donations. Supporters and enthusiasts alike are invited to attend, enjoy fresh grilled food, drinks, and good company.
