The 2022 Oneida County Fair held at Pioneer Park in Rhinelander, Wisconsin runs Thursday, July 28th - Sunday, July 31st with the following hours:

Thursday, July 28th: 4pm-11pm
Friday, July 29th: 10am-11pm
Saturday, July 30th: 10am-11pm
Sunday, July 31st: 10am- 5pm

The Oneida County Fair was first introduced to the citizens of Oneida County in August of 1896. It was also the year that famed write

r, timber cruiser and hometown prankster Gene Shepard brought his mythical creature, the Hodag, from timber camp folklore to real life. For the price of one thin dime, the community got a peek at the creature that would soon become infamous - not just to the community but world-wide! Over the years, the Fair has had several homes. It began in the early 1900s just east of town at a formally dedicated Fairgrounds, which doubled as the first Oneida County Airport. It later transferred to Lake Tomahawk, and then moved to the Hodag Country Festival grounds. Today, the Oneida County Fair has a new home among the towering pines of Pioneer Park. This Historical Complex is also the home of the country's oldest logging museum, a historic railroad depot built in 1892, a Civilian Conservation Corps museum, an early 1900s school house, an outboard motor museum, and a completely restored historical sawmill. In 2009, the Oneida County Fair had a guest count of nearly 13,000 who were heartily welcomed to the new Fair location. By 2011, attendance increased to 18,000. We hit the Jack-pot with this guy!

The Oneida County Fair would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jack Flint for his incredible support and generosity.

As our on-site photographer, Jack captures the moments that make the fair so special, from the excitement on opening day to the smiles, laughter, competitions, and memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks to his talent behind the camera, we can relive the magic of the fair long after the gates close.

This year, Jack took his support a step further. Not only did he provide his photography services at a highly discounted rate, but he also donated that fee back to the fair as part of our Raise the Big Top fundraiser. That generosity speaks volumes about his commitment to our community and the future of the Oneida County Fair.

Jack, thank you for preserving our favorite fair memories and for investing in the success of the fair. Your support helps us continue our mission of keeping the fair a place where our community can come together and create memories for generations to come.

A Huge Thank You to Bowen's Bus Service!

The Oneida County Fair would like to extend our sincere thanks to Bowen's Bus Service for partnering with us and helping keep our fairgoers safe!

If you've enjoyed the fair after dark, you may have taken advantage of Bowen's trolley service, which provides transportation between Pioneer Park and the parking area on Kabel Ave. Their commitment to offering a safe and convenient ride allows everyone to focus on making memories while getting back to their vehicles with ease.

Community partnerships like this make a tremendous difference, and we're grateful to Bowen's Bus Service for helping us create a safe, enjoyable experience for all.

What an incredible start! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we've reached 30% of our Raise the Big Top goal!

Even more exciting, $3,011 was raised during the 2026 Oneida County Fair through cash donations made by all of you! Every dollar brings us one step closer to replacing our beloved Big Top tent and ensuring it continues to serve as the heart of entertainment, memories, and community gatherings for years to come.

As the 2026 Oneida County Fair comes to a close, we just want to say... thank you. ❤️

To everyone who came through the gates, exhibited, volunteered, sponsored, competed, entertained, worked, and cheered from the sidelines, you made this year's fair one to remember.

This incredible event wouldn't be possible without our dedicated volunteers, committee members, and Fair Board who spend countless hours planning all year long to bring our community together. Seeing families make memories, friends reconnect, and neighbors support one another is what makes our fair so special.

From all of us on the Oneida County Fair Board, thank you for making the 2026 fair such a success. We are already looking forward to seeing you next year! 🎡💚
