🌱Following a ceremony to begin the non-local plant control season, GLIFWC wildlife section staff are in the Bad River lowlands today, hand-pulling garlic mustard plants. Since the late 2000s GLIFWC and Northwoods Cooperative W**d Management have worked to reduce the density of aggressive garlic mustard stands, providing balance and space for native plants & medicines to grow.

Ashland School students join the GLIFWC crew as they move upriver into Copper Falls State Park tomorrow. Volunteers are welcome Wednesday & Thursday. Contact Travis Bartnick at [email protected] to join the team.
