Welcome to the official page of the Squash Lake Association.

The Squash Lake Association’s mission is to preserve and protect Squash Lake and its surrounding ecosystems, and also to enhance the water quality, the fishery, the wild natural habitats, boating safety, and the aesthetic values of Squash Lake, as a public recreational facility for today and for future generations.

In the Northwoods the 4 seasons are very prominent!! Fall, to me, is the prettiest! Brisk mornings, warm afternoons, and cool nights combine for beautiful days!! If you’re brave enough to venture out around the lake without a hard hat, you rock! It doesn’t rain cats and dogs around here. It rains ACORNS! Anywhere from 1” to 1.5”, these Acorns hurt!!🥴. The moisture also brings some cool mushroom art!🤣.

It’s officially FALL 🍂🍁! The sun rose at 7:30am then quickly disappeared into clouds. We are seeing more docks/piers, lifts and boats leaving Squash Lake!! Always a sad time as summers on Squash Lake seem to be the “shortest” season!!

I'm on the dive team that clears milfoil out of the lake, and yesterday I found this smart watch in the bay circled on the map.
The watch had a white band, which is how I saw it so easily on the bottom of the lake, but the color came off while in my suit pocket.
If anyone lost it and wants it back, please message me. Otherwise I'll just toss it. 😊

There was a lot of action on Squash Lake this BEAUTIFUL Labor Day weekend!!! So fun to see families making wonderful memories here in the Northwoods! Two weeks officially left of summer! 😩

And just like that it’s September 1st!! Heading into Labor Day Weekend with some great boating weather on the horizon! Always a sad day when the kids go back to school! Fall is right around the corner!
