Climate change is advancing and so is human creativity to fight back, shift our power systems to renewables, design our communities for self-reliance, and channel investment into work that is genuinely productive of community wealth. There are revolutions going on in ar
chitecture, energy systems, agriculture, product design, and communications, supporting these ideas. We think the biggest revolution is in the capacity of communities to get involved and set their own creative course. There is a lot of talk about resilience - the ability to withstand crises and bounce back better. That same quality of strength and resourcefulness is what we need to draw on to prevent unnecessary crises and build more stress-resistant, durable, beautiful places to live and work.
