Happy concert week! 🥳💐🎶

Come support our 6th-12th Grade Chorus ensembles as they perform their Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 13th at 7:00pm. A live stream of the event will be available on the York Golden Knights page. We look forward to sharing our work with the community!

York Central School District has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) Award from The NAMM Foundation for outstanding support and commitment to music education. This marks the third consecutive year that York School received the award.

The award recognizes the efforts of our Music Department staff, Mrs. Daeffler, Miss Dessert, Miss Evans, and Mr. Vogel, and our talented students. Congratulations to all.

Now in its 27th year, the program continues to spotlight and celebrate school districts and individual schools across the United States for their exemplary dedication to music education and their ongoing efforts to ensure equitable access to music learning as part of a well-rounded education.

Tonight's the night! Come see the 2026 York Elementary School musical, "It's A Hit!" at 7:00 in the Ivan F. Hilfiker Auditorium!

You do NOT need to purchase tickets - the show is free and open to the public!

If you would like, you may bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to support families in the YCS community. We will also be running a Candy Grams/Snack Sale fundraiser (cash only) at the performance. All proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund future York Elementary School musical productions! You may also leave a (free) "Note of Encouragement" to students in the cast. We greatly appreciate your support, and we can't wait to share our hard work with the community! 😊
